“It was okay,” Hamilton replied briefly when asked about his thoughts on the Japanese GP. Hamilton and Mercedes have endured a challenging start to the new Formula 1 season, with little progress seeming to be made so far. Mercedes’ performance stands in stark contrast to that of Ferrari, which has been performing significantly better this year.
In light of Hamilton’s announcement that he will be leaving Mercedes at the end of the season to join Ferrari, it has been suggested that his focus is already shifting towards his new team. This speculation led one journalist to inquire whether Hamilton was envious of Ferrari’s strong performance.
