Today, a new vivo V30 Lite was announced in Cambodia. This marks the third smartphone with the same name, following the V30 Lite models available in India, Mexico, and the Middle East.
This latest vivo V30 Lite shares the same design as the vivo T3 (aka iQOO Z9), with differences in chipset and charging speed.
The vivo V30 Lite features a Snapdragon 685 chipset, a 6nm LTE-only platform with an octa-core CPU – 4×2.8 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4×1.9 GHz Cortex-A53. The front display is a 6.67” AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, up to 120 Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,200 nits brightness.
Despite its design, the back of the V30 Lite has only two cameras – a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP depth sensor, while the front selfie camera has 8 MP resolution.
This is the first Lite model in vivo’s history to support 80W fast charging, promising an 80% battery charge in just 30 minutes. The phone also comes with a guarantee that the battery will retain 80% of its capacity after 1,600 full charge cycles, which is equivalent to more than 4 years of daily charging.
The V30 Lite runs on Funtouch 14 on top of Android 14. Unfortunately, it does not include a 3.5mm audio jack and lacks NFC for payments.
