Oppo introduced the A2 and A2 Pro last year, and the A3 back in 2018 – we can’t make sense of this naming scheme, so please don’t ask us to. Adding to the confusion, the A3 Pro is expected to be released soon.
CAD-based renderings of the A3 Pro were leaked today, revealing its size to be 162.7 x 74.5 x 7.8mm. The phone is rumored to feature a 6.7-inch display.
The renderings show dual rear cameras housed in a circular camera island at the top, along with a circular LED flash array. There is also a decorative circle at the bottom with a metallic cap, rather than a camera of its own.
The phone boasts very narrow bezels, a decent size top and bottom (slightly larger at the bottom), a selfie camera hole in the middle of the screen, power and volume keys on the right side, and a USB Type-C port at the bottom.
No other details about the Oppo A3 Pro have been leaked yet, but as information starts to surface, we anticipate hearing more about it soon. The A2 Pro, which the A3 Pro is likely meant to replace, featured MediaTek’s Dimensity 7050 SoC, paired with 8/12GB of RAM and 256/512GB of storage, along with a 64 MP main camera and a 2 MP depth sensor.
We are expecting some minor upgrades for the A3 Pro, likely maintaining the same price point as its predecessor while offering a compelling package for a reasonable price.
