Samsung has officially unveiled a new fitness tracker. The Galaxy Fit 3 is extensive, affordable, and features a new design.
Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 officially unveiled
The Galaxy Fit 3 has already appeared in rumors and has now been officially announced by Samsung. The new fitness tracker is also coming to Europe, although little is known about a Dutch release. However, the Fit 3 can already be found at online store Belsimpel, with a price of 98.95 euros.
The Galaxy Fit 3 succeeds the Galaxy Fit 2, which was released in 2020. The fitness tracker has a completely new design, where the larger screen is particularly noticeable. The display is now 1.6 inches, making it easier to read information. According to Samsung, the screen is 45 percent wider than the previous model.
The fitness tracker, which actually looks like a smartwatch, is also quite light and has over 100 watchfaces on board, so there is always a watch face you like. An important feature is the battery life. Samsung claims that the Galaxy Fit 3 lasts up to thirteen days on a full charge. It is also water-resistant.
Health
Naturally, you use the fitness tracker to keep track of how much you exercise and how healthy you are. It is possible to track more than 100 types of workouts. There is also sleep detection to record how good your night’s sleep is, and the Fit 3 may provide tips for better sleep. The device can also measure the oxygen level in your blood and has a heart rate sensor.
The Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 also has fall detection and an option to call an emergency number in the event of an accident. You can also use the Fit 3 as a kind of remote control, for example, to take photos remotely with your paired smartphone. Operating media is also possible.
The Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 is available from this week in ‘selected markets’, but a Dutch release date is not yet available. The tracker appears in three colors: black, silver, and pink.
