Rumors about a foldable Honor smartphone in a clamshell form factor have been circulating on the Internet for a long time, and now the first details about it have appeared. Insiders published a photo of the device, partially revealing its design.
The photo is not very informative, but you can see that the smartphone has two round camera blocks, thanks to which it resembles the company’s previous flagship devices, like the Honor 90. However, it is unclear where the external display will be located in this case and whether there will be one at all. It is possible that in order to reduce the price, the manufacturer may completely abandon the additional screen.
In terms of technical characteristics, it is only known that the smartphone will have two batteries with a capacity of 2420 and 1980 mAh (4500 mAh in total). But this is all the information available at the moment. By the way, Honor Magic V2 is considered the thinnest folding smartphone, so the new product has every chance of repeating the success of its predecessor, but only among clamshells.
According to insider information, the new Honor will be presented after the Spring Festival in China, which will be held from February 10 to 17. It is possible that the inscription on the photo “2.22” is a hint at the date of the presentation of the device.
