Despite several reshuffles of top positions in the team, Alpine fell from fourth to sixth place among the constructors last year. Just like last year, Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon are again the driving duo at Alpine, so no changes in that area.
The A524 should ensure that Gasly and Ocon have a better ‘weapon’ to compete with the competition and once again look to the top in the constructors’ championship. In addition to its F1 car, Alpine also presented its drivers and team for the WEC, including Mick Schumacher. Schumacher is also a reserve driver for the Mercedes F1 team.
