OnePlus has launched its OnePlus 12 in China at a special ceremony coinciding with the company’s tenth anniversary. The OnePlus 12 is one of the most impressive new phones, featuring the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, up to 24GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. Wireless charging makes a comeback after being omitted from the OnePlus 11, and OnePlus has also blessed its latest flagship with an IP65 rating against dust and water jets.
There is an impressive curved 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3168 px and 1-120 Hz adaptive refresh rate up front. The panel is advertised to output up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness for HDR content or 1,600 nits in normal use. OnePlus also boasts a 2,160 Hz PWM dimming and class-leading blue light filtering.
Moving around the back reveals a Hasselblad-branded camera setup with a 50MP main shooter featuring Sony’s dual-layer stacked Lytia 808 sensor, the same sensor used on the OnePlus Open with 1.12µm pixels and a 24mm equivalent f/1.7 lens with OIS.
The main shooter is complemented by a 70mm equivalent 64MP telephoto module with 3x optical zoom and up to 6x lossless magnification via in-sensor zoom. The third shooter is a 14mm equivalent 48MP ultra-wide camera with an IMX581 sensor.

The OnePlus 12 boots ColorOS 14.0, based on Android 14 in China, which is likely to arrive as OxygenOS 14 for international markets.
The phone has a 5,400 mAh dual-cell battery, the largest seen in a OnePlus phone to date. The OP 12 also supports up to 50W wireless charging as well as 10W reverse wireless charging. If you prefer old-fashioned wired charging, you can go up to 100W speeds.
