Samsung has not yet presented the Galaxy S24, but the first details about the Galaxy S25 series are already beginning to appear online. For example, a tech blogger under the nickname Tech_Reve claims that the company will make noticeable changes to the camera modules of flagships in 2025.
According to the source, Samsung intends to abandon the use of 50-megapixel ISOCELL GN3 sensors (f/1.8, Dual Pixel PDAF, OIS) in the Galaxy S25 and S25+ models. All the brand’s flagships presented in the last three years were equipped with such sensors. Instead, they will allegedly receive Sony sensors – we are probably talking about the main sensor. It is worth keeping in mind that this information is nothing more than a rumor, since the company itself has not made any official statements.
The Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ being prepared for the presentation are credited with the same 50-megapixel GN3, combined with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module and a 10-megapixel sensor, complemented by a telephoto lens. The premiere of the flagships is expected in mid-January 2024.
