With Spotify Wrapped, the music service has struck gold, leading many apps to follow suit. Here you will find all the apps for your personal Wrapped 2023.
Wrapped 2023: other apps
Apps collect massive amounts of information about your usage, so why not present it in easy-to-share lists? With that idea, Spotify Wrapped became a big hit.
In 2016, the music service first introduced overviews of the songs, albums, and artists you listened to most often in the past year. From 2019, these lists were placed in stories, which can easily be shared via social media. This was done so often that other apps followed Spotify’s example.
Apple Music
If you use Apple’s music service, you can now view Apple Music Replay. This overview is similar to Spotify Wrapped, including easy-to-share stories showing which artists and songs you listened to the most. Unlike Spotify, Replay does not work in the Apple Music app. You will need to visit the Replay website.
YouTube Music
If you listen to music via YouTube Music, an overview is also available for you, unless you have not listened to more than four hours or mainly play children’s music. To find your recap, search for ‘Recap’ in the search bar or go to this page.
Pocket Casts
The popular podcast app Pocket Casts offers its users an overview of the podcasts you have listened to the most. If you have an account, go to your profile, where you will find ‘Your year in podcasts’. There the app tells you, among other things, how many hours you have listened to this year (in my case 25 days!) and what the longest episode was.
Storytel
Audiobook app Storytel presents a Year of Stories at the end of the year, allowing you to see your favorite authors, genres and readers and of course how many hours you listened to audiobooks last year. At the time of writing, the 2023 version is not yet available in the app, but that could of course change at any time.
Goodreads
If you use the Goodreads app to keep track of which books you have read and still want to read, you will receive a nice overview at the end of the year, including how many pages you have read, what your longest book was, and what your average score was. As soon as ‘2023 Year in Books’ is available, you will find it in the app under ‘My Books’.
Duolingo
At the end of each year, Duolingo gives you a report of what you have done. This includes which languages you have learned, how many minutes you spent learning and perhaps the best part: how many words you have learned this year. Last year, Duolingo published this overview on December 6, so take a look at the app around that time!
You may not want to see how much time you spent on Reddit this year, but even this app gives you a personal look back at the year. This lists the posts you’ve written and what kind of content has received the most upvotes. The overview will be available later in December and can be found by tapping the Narwhal icon under your profile.
Snapchat
If you saved Snaps in Snapchat this year, you will receive a nice overview at the end of the year that allows you to look back at some of the highlights of the past year.
