An insider under the nickname Ice Universe has published interesting information about the smartphones of the yet unannounced Galaxy S24 series. If confirmed, you should not expect the appearance of Samsung flagships with the trendy 24 GB of RAM – even in the top versions, they will receive a significantly smaller amount of RAM.
According to the source, the base model of the Galaxy S24 will only be available in configurations with 8 GB of RAM, and the Galaxy S24+ will additionally receive a version with 12 GB – like the Ultra model, which, according to the informant, will not have a modification with 16 GB. At the same time, there are already models on the market that offer twice as much RAM. Samsung has not yet commented on the insider’s publication. However, it is already known that the company plans to equip its future flagships with AI functions, which will require a large amount of memory.
According to unofficial information, the new products will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400 processors (S24 Ultra – only Qualcomm chip), as well as 12-megapixel front cameras. It is expected that the battery capacity of the devices will be 5000 mAh (Galaxy S24 Ultra), 4900 mAh (Galaxy S24+), and 4000 mAh (Galaxy S24). The presentation of the brand’s new flagships is expected to take place early next year.
