POCO, earlier this year, launched the POCO X5 series consisting of the POCO X5 5G and the POCO X5 Pro 5G. The brand is expected to introduce the successor of the POCO X5 series – the POCO X6 series. However, this time around, the X-series might consist of three handsets – the POCO X6 Neo, the POCO X6, and the POCO X6 Pro.
In the latest development, the upcoming POCO X6 Pro 5G have made an appearance on Thailand’s NBTC certification website. POCO X6 Pro’s appearance on the NBTC certification website does hint towards an imminent launch. Let us take a closer look at the details.
The POCO X6 Pro NBTC certification reveals the model number of the handset, that is 2311DRK48G (G represents global variant). To those unaware, the Redmi K70e Chinese variant has the model number 2311DRK48C which hints that the upcoming POCO X6 Pro will be a rebranded Redmi K70e. Also, the POCO X6 Pro Indian variant with the model number 2311DRK48I (I represents Indian variant) has already acquired BIS certification.
Redmi is launching the Redmi K70 series later today in China. The Redmi K70 series will consist of three devices – Redmi K70E, Redmi K70, and Redmi K70 Pro. The Redmi K70e will sport a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC under the hood. The handset will feature a 1.5K resolution AMOLED display with 1800 nits peak brightness and 1920Hz PWM high frequency dimming.
Xiaomi will use a 12-bit display on the Redmi K70e and will equip it with a 5500mAh battery unit. The K-series handset will feature support for 90W fast charging. The handset will also be equipped with a 5000 square mm stainless steel vapour cooling.
