Samsung has been rolling out One UI 6 based on Android 14 to numerous smartphones in recent weeks. Surprisingly, the Galaxy A14 5G has now joined the list of devices receiving the update. It’s unexpected how quickly the rollout has reached this entry-level device.
An insider on X has reported that the update is now being pushed to A14 5G devices in India. The update is a hefty 1.8GB download, so ensure that you have enough storage space before initiating the update process.
Upon completion of the update, your A14 5G will be running software version A146BXXU2CWK9 / A146BODM2CWK9 / A146BXXU2CWK2 and will be equipped with the November 1, 2023, security patch level.
Units of the Galaxy A14 5G in other markets are expected to receive the update in the coming days and weeks.
