The Redmi line from Xiaomi is all set to launch its K70 series on Wednesday, November 29, featuring no less than three smartphones. We are expecting a vanilla Redmi K70 along with a K70 Pro and a more budget-oriented K70E. We now have a set of live hands-on images featuring both the K70 and K70 Pro, complete with more detailed specifications.

Both phones will feature 6.67-inch AMOLED panels with punch-hole cutouts and glass backs with a frosted pattern. The back also has an updated camera design with a large glass camera island and three lenses, each housed in its own metal ring. The fourth cutout is for the LED flash. Both K70 models will have 50MP main shooters with OIS, with the Pro model also offering a 2x portrait camera and an ultra-wide lens, while the vanilla K70 will instead offer a 2MP AI camera.

The settings menu confirms that both phones will ship with Xiaomi HyperOS 1.0.1 based on Android 14, as well as 12GB of RAM. The K70 Pro will be equipped with Qualcomm’s top dog Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, while the K70 runs on what appears to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. The Redmi K70E will debut the recently announced Dimensity 8300 from MediaTek.
Wednesday’s Redmi launch event will also include the new Redmi Book 16 2024 Windows laptops, Redmi Watch 4 wearable, and the Redmi Buds 5 Pro TWS earbuds.
