The iQOO Neo8 and Neo8 Pro were both launched in May and it seems that the vivo sub-brand is now gearing up to introduce their successors, the Neo9 and Neo9 Pro.
According to a recent rumor from the usually dependable Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Neo9 will come with a 6.78-inch “1.5K” resolution display with slim bezels and will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
For comparison, the Neo8 was powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, so this is a significant upgrade. The main camera of the Neo9 is rumored to have the Sony IMX920 sensor, which recently made its debut in the vivo X100, and it will feature 120W fast wired charging, just like its predecessor.
The sketch above is said to portray the iQOO Neo9, which will allegedly come with a rear glass curved on all four sides and a dual-color combination. The phone will prioritize performance and will be thinner than the Neo8.
Now that the leaks have started, we expect to learn even more about the iQOO Neo9 in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
