Samsung has launched the S Pen Creator Edition in the United States, priced at $99.99. This top-of-the-line stylus, previously available in Europe, offers several significant improvements compared to other S Pen models.
One key enhancement is its larger size, providing a more comfortable experience for drawing and writing. It also boasts 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity, similar to the S23 Ultra’s S Pen, and introduces a 60° tilt angle, enhancing the overall drawing experience.
The S Pen Creator Edition
The S Pen Creator Edition is compatible with Samsung Galaxy phones from the Galaxy Note10 and up, as well as the entire Galaxy S series, although it is not compatible with the Galaxy Z Fold series due to its retractable tip requirement.
This stylus can be magnetically attached to the side of Galaxy Tab S models and doesn’t require charging since it is battery-free.
The S Pen Creator Edition features a single button on its side that performs various tasks within different apps. Additionally, it has an IPX4 rating for splash resistance, unlike the IP68 rating of the mobile S Pen.
Priced at $99.99, the S Pen Creator Edition offers a middle ground between Apple’s $129 Apple Pencil and the recently launched $79 Apple Pencil USB-C. However, the iPad’s extensive app catalog remains a major advantage for Apple’s stylus.
