During the Brazilian GP, Charles Leclerc experienced another round of bad luck, which has been a recurrent issue this season. Despite the demotivating nature of the situation, Leclerc remains determined to maintain a positive mindset and look towards the future.
During the warm-up lap, Leclerc spun and crashed into the tire wall due to a technical problem with his Ferrari, leaving him exclaiming, “Why the hell am I so unlucky?” over the on-board radio.
Even after exiting his car, Leclerc’s disappointment and disbelief were visibly evident.
“Maybe it was just a moment of frustration,” Leclerc admitted regarding his radio message to the team. “I’m irritated because I had finally gained confidence in the car, especially during the second half of the season. You start in second place, sacrificing the entire weekend for the race on Sunday, and then it’s all over after just six corners.”
Despite his immense frustration, Leclerc understands the importance of moving forward and focusing on the remaining two races of the season, as it is the best approach for any driver in his position.
However, the consistent missed opportunities throughout the season have been highly frustrating. Leclerc still hopes that there is a chance for his team to secure second place in the constructors’ championship following this race.
That is his sole motivation for the rest of the season, as everything else has lost its excitement for him.
Nevertheless, Leclerc would undoubtedly prefer not to encounter such problems at all.
