Earlier this year, Samsung launched Bixby Text Call in select markets, including India. This feature is exclusively available in English but can be incredibly useful. Bixby Text Call converts incoming voice calls into text chats (please note that it is not currently available for outgoing calls).
Once enabled (follow the Source link for instructions), you’ll find the Bixby text call button on the incoming call screen, next to the usual green answer button. You have the flexibility to switch from a text call to a regular voice call whenever desired.
During a text call, the caller’s message appears as text bubbles, similar to a chat app. You can respond by typing or selecting from a range of pre-written answers that will be sent through the text-to-speech system.
One interesting benefit of text calls is that the transcript is saved and can be accessed later from the Recent Calls screen. This feature is particularly helpful for situations when you are unable or prefer not to speak out loud during a call.
