Max Verstappen wins the Brazilian GP sprint race with ease.
Taking the lead at the start was crucial, according to Verstappen’s race review. Despite a less than ideal start, he managed to successfully overtake Lando and control the race thereafter. The focus was on tire management due to the high degradation on this circuit. Completing 24 laps on one set of tires was a challenge but Verstappen drove consistently to handle it. The team executed the race strategy effectively.
Compared to last year’s tough experience, today was much better. The drivers couldn’t push to the limit due to the need to preserve the tires, but Verstappen and the team handled this task admirably.
Verstappen’s victory in the sprint race has boosted his confidence for Sunday’s main race.
This excellent start has provided valuable insights for tomorrow’s race. We hope to replicate this success on race day.
