A week and a half after its appearance in the TENAA certifier database, the OPPO A2 smartphone has been officially released. This new device showcases a distinctive rear panel design in purple, along with an impressive 12 GB of RAM.
The OPPO A2 boasts a 6.72-inch IPS display with 2.5D glass, featuring a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The screen has a 90 Hz refresh rate and offers a peak brightness of 680 nits. The front-facing camera is located within a round cutout, housing an 8-megapixel lens. On the rear panel, you’ll find a powerful 50-megapixel main camera module, accompanied by a 2-megapixel sensor for background blur.
Under the hood, the OPPO A2 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor and boasts 12 GB of RAM. The device comes with either 256 or 512 GB of internal storage. It features a 5000 mAh battery with 33-watt fast charging capabilities, ensuring excellent battery life. Users can also enjoy stereo speakers and IP54 standard protection for the device’s case.
