Infinix is set to release new smartphones in the budget-friendly HOT 40 series, which will include the base model, as well as the HOT 40 Pro and HOT 40i versions. Prior to the launch, all three new products have appeared in the Google Play Console database with a list of key characteristics.
According to sources, the HOT 40 will feature a MediaTek Helio G88 chip with support for 4G networks, 8 GB of RAM, and a screen resolution of 2460×1080 pixels. The smartphone will run on the Android 13 operating system.
The HOT 40 Pro model will be equipped with the MediaTek Helio G99 platform, along with the same amount of RAM and display resolution. Since the chip has limitations, support for 5G networks should not be expected.
The most affordable version, the HOT 40i, will use the Unisoc T606 processor with a maximum of 4 GB of RAM. The display resolution will also be lower compared to the older models, at 1612×720 pixels. The smartphone will come with the Android 13 operating system pre-installed.
The presence of Infinix HOT 40 smartphones in the Google Play Console indicates an upcoming launch not only in India but also in the global market. The exact presentation date has not yet been announced, but online sources speculate that it will take place in the second quarter of 2024.
