The collection of rumors surrounding the flagship smartphones of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series continues to grow with new information. Insider Ice Universe has shared pictures of protective cases for the upcoming products, giving us an idea of their appearance.
Based on these images, it seems that the Galaxy S24 lineup will be quite similar to its predecessors. Specifically, the vertical arrangement of the main camera sensors will remain unchanged. The basic and Plus versions will each have three sensors, while the top-end Ultra version will come equipped with five.
According to rumors, Samsung will be making some changes in the new series. They are expected to abandon the 10x optical zoom in favor of 5x, similar to the iPhone 15 Pro Max. According to Apple, this change improves image quality. Additionally, Samsung will reportedly replace some of the aluminum body parts of the Galaxy S24 Ultra with titanium ones.
Insiders do not have much technical information about the upcoming new products at this time. It is reported that the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ will be available with Exynos 2400 chips in certain regions, while the Ultra version will come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 regardless of location. The smartphones are expected to debut in January 2024, although the exact date is still unknown.
