HUAWEI has recently released the official price list for spare parts for the foldable smartphone Mate X5. It is important to handle the device with care, as replacing certain key components can be comparable to purchasing a new iPhone 15 series.

According to the official price list, the main display for the standard version of the Mate X5 costs $714 in yuan terms, and the auxiliary external display costs $137. Replacing the motherboard (12/256 GB) will cost the user $617, the main rear camera module will cost $95, and the battery will cost $49.

The internal screen for the Mate X5 Collector’s Edition (the only version of the smartphone with a 16 GB/1 TB configuration) will cost even more, priced at $769. The motherboard of this gadget is also expensive at a price of $1015 for replacement. However, the prices for the cameras and battery remain the same as the base model.

It is worth noting that the published price refers to post-warranty repairs. Buyers in China have the option to take advantage of the additional Care+ service, which reduces the cost of replacing displays.
