After a whole summer of beta releases, the commercial versions of iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 are now available for download starting today on supported devices. The entry point for iOS 17 is now set to the iPhone Xs and iPhone XR generation that was introduced in 2018. The iPhone X and iPhone 8 series SE are the notable exclusions this year as they will no longer receive support on iOS 16.
