After a whole summer of beta releases, the commercial versions of iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 are now available for download starting today on supported devices. The entry point for iOS 17 is now set to the iPhone Xs and iPhone XR generation that was introduced in 2018. The iPhone X and iPhone 8 series SE are the notable exclusions this year as they will no longer receive support on iOS 16.

Regarding iPadOS 17, you will need an iPad (2018), iPad Air (2019), iPad mini (2019), or iPad Pro (2018) for the latest release. For more information on iPadOS 17, take a look at our coverage.
Apple is also releasing watchOS 10 for Watch Series 4 and newer, as well as tvOS 10 for Apple TV HD and higher.
