Sam Dejonghe and Dennis Xhaët were joined by half-Italian Massimo Bottiglieri in a new episode of ‘The Paddock’ for a look back at the Singapore GP.
The victory once again went to Ferrari, with an excellent Carlos Sainz. “We hardly expect it from them anymore,” he says positively about the Italian racing team. “They did everything to win the race and controlled the weekend.”
Mercedes drove to third place with Lewis Hamilton, while George Russell crashed in the end. “Russell was the best driver of the weekend after Sainz,” we hear. But: “Russell’s only chance is ruined by Hamilton. If he doesn’t start attacking, Russell shouldn’t defend.”
And Max Verstappen? He came fifth. “It was disappointing on Friday, it was disappointing on Saturday and it was disappointing on Sunday. And yet he is still fifth.”
