OnePlus is preparing to launch a new Android tablet, the OnePlus Pad Go, in the Indian market. The company has already started teasing the launch of the OnePlus Pad Go tablet on its social media channels. In a recent development, the OnePlus Pad Go microsite has gone live on the leading e-commerce portal, Flipkart, which confirms that the upcoming OnePlus tablet will be sold via the Walmart-owned platform, as well as the OnePlus Store, in the Indian market.
OnePlus has not yet revealed the OnePlus Pad Go India launch date, but the microsite on Flipkart indicates that the OnePlus Pad Go should go on sale next month in the country. Let’s take a closer look at the details.
The OnePlus Pad Go launch microsite showcases the upcoming tablet in a Green color option. In terms of design, the OnePlus Pad Go appears to resemble its elder sibling, the OnePlus Pad. However, as the name suggests, the OnePlus Pad Go is expected to be a budget Android tablet.
The OnePlus Pad Go design renders reveal sizable bezels at the front. The back panel of the device is confirmed to feature a dual-tone finish and a circular camera module. The upcoming tablet will feature a single rear camera without a flash. Additionally, the OnePlus Pad Go appears to have a quad-speaker setup.
OnePlus will continue to release new teasers until October 4. Therefore, we can expect the OnePlus Pad Go to be officially announced sometime in the first half of October. OnePlus COO, Kinder Liu, recently confirmed that the OnePlus Pad Go will be equipped with a 2.4K resolution display.
Liu also stated that the OnePlus Pad Go will come pre-loaded with OxygenOS 13, but it will be based on Android 13. However, the company will soon roll out the Android 14 update for the tablet. OnePlus plans to offer seamless file sharing between OnePlus devices, and to achieve this, the upcoming tablet will offer the Content Sync feature. With Content Sync, users will be able to quickly share media and clipboard from their OnePlus devices to the OnePlus Pad Go.
OnePlus smartphone users will also be able to share screens seamlessly without WiFi connectivity. Additionally, the company is working on a new feature that will allow users to take calls on their OnePlus tablets.
