Despite a significant increase in prices in rubles for the iPhone 15 series compared to its predecessors and current restrictions, Russian retailers have noticed a huge increase in demand for Apple’s new products. At the same time, Russian users have shown little interest in the basic models.

According to the RBC publication, a representative of M.Video – Eldorado, spoke about a more than threefold increase in the number of pre-orders for the new iPhone 15 series in the first two days compared to last year’s models. At the same time, 94% of pre-orders were for the Pro versions, and the regular iPhone 15 and 15 Plus were only of interest to 6% of buyers. Most often, Russians chose models with 128 and 256 GB of internal memory. Among the color options, the most popular choices were Natural Titanium and Blue Titanium, and among the basic models, black and pink were preferred.
MTC noted that the number of pre-orders for the new iPhone 15 was 50% higher than for the 14 series last year. As for the statistics by model, 54% were accounted for by the iPhone 15 Pro Max, 40% by the 15 Pro, 4% by the iPhone 15, and 1% by the iPhone 15 Plus. Half of all pre-orders were for models with 256 GB of memory.
MegaFon and Yota also reported that 90% of the pre-orders were for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, with the highest demand being for the iPhone 15 Pro Max in the 256 GB version, as well as the iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Pro with 512 GB.
