Vivo’s T2 series consists of two smartphones – T2 and T2x. This number will increase to three next week as Vivo has announced that it will launch the Vivo T2 Pro in India on September 22 at noon local time.
The Vivo T2 Pro is touted as the “Performance Pioneer,” which will “offer extreme performance with trendy aesthetics.” The image shared by Vivo reveals that it will pack a curved display with a centered punch hole for the selfie camera and will have two cameras on its back, connected by a circular ring flash called Aura Light.
The design of the Vivo T2 Pro suggests that it could be a rebranded iQOO Z7 Pro that went on sale in India last week. The smartphone is also rumored to have the Dimensity 7200 SoC at the helm, which further leads us to believe that the Vivo T2 Pro could be a recognizable iQOO Z7 Pro.
The iQOO Z7 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 7200 chip, has a 6.78″ 120Hz FullHD+ curved AMOLED display, and runs Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13. It packs a 4,600mAh battery with 66W charging, comes in 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configurations, and features three cameras – a 64MP primary camera (with OIS and EIS), a 2MP depth camera, and a 16MP selfie camera. The smartphone also has an IP52 rating.

We’ll likely hear more about the T2 Pro from Vivo as we get closer to its launch, but in the meantime, you can check out the camera samples of the iQOO Z7 Pro here, which we took when we got our hands on the smartphone last month.
