There was hope that Samsung would offer support for up to 65W fast charging on its Galaxy S24 Ultra. However, a new batch of listings on China’s 3C agency confirms that this won’t be the case. The Galaxy S24 series will retain the 25W and 45W charging speeds of its predecessors. The vanilla Galaxy S24 (SM-S9210) will have a charging speed of 25W, similar to the Galaxy S23.

The Galaxy S24+ (SM-S9260) and S24 Ultra (SM-S9280) will retain the 45W charging speeds found on their predecessors. These new offerings confirm that Samsung will continue to offer its flagship phones without chargers in the box. It remains to be seen if Samsung will opt for stacked battery technology on its S24+ and S24 Ultra, as was rumored earlier this year. Regardless, both the S24+ and S24 Ultra are expected to arrive with 5,000mAh batteries, while the vanilla S24 could also see a slight increase in its battery capacity.
