All three models of the future Redmi Note 13 Pro series will come equipped with AMOLED displays that can track the user’s heart rate, according to Lu Weibin, President of Xiaomi and General Manager of Redmi. He also shared teasers of upcoming products.
All Redmi Note 13 smartphones will feature an AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K. Lu also mentioned that the screen will have a blue light filter, a maximum brightness of 1800 nits, and a PWM frequency of 1920 Hz. However, it is unclear whether the other specifications, apart from resolution and screen type, apply to the entire lineup or are specific to the Pro+ model. The Pro+ model can be identified by its rounded display, but the regular version will have a flat screen, as previously revealed.
There is also information about a new under-screen fingerprint sensor that will be introduced in the Note lineup. It will provide quick unlocking and be capable of tracking the user’s heart rate. The smartphones will have different processors. The Redmi Note 13 Pro will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chip, while the Note 13 Pro+ will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra. Additionally, the “plus” version will have a 200 MP camera (Samsung HP3) with optical stabilization, a seven-element lens, and an f/1.65 aperture. Other specifications of the Note 13 series have already surfaced online.
The release is scheduled for September 21 at 14:00 Moscow time.
