Analysts from the Picodi service have updated the iPhone index, which measures the number of working days required to earn money for the latest Apple flagship, the iPhone 15 Pro. Participants of the ranking are listed in descending order based on the number of working days required. Turkey, the Philippines, and Brazil require the most working days to afford the new iPhone 15 Pro. In these countries, it would take 123.7, 79.5, and 66.6 days, respectively, to save up for the smartphone – unless, of course, the money is spent on something else.
Russia ranks sixth, with a result of 46.3 days, surpassing India and Vietnam in this indicator. The analysts note that they valued the smartphone at 146,990 rubles, which is 40,000 rubles more than last year. Information on average salaries in different countries was derived from official statistics.
Compared to last year’s results, the iPhone index in Russia increased by 6.6 days, but remains lower than the period from 2018 to 2020. According to Picodi calculations, Switzerland requires the least amount of work to buy an iPhone 15 Pro – statistics show that you can earn $999 in just 4.2 days. The USA ranks second (5.3 days), and Australia comes in third (6.3 days).
