Have you ever wished to zip around in ODM gear and slay Titans without the dangers of real-life commitment? Well, your wish is about to come true with the upcoming release of AOT: Retake. This exciting Roblox project is being developed by Retake Studios, and they frequently provide updates and plans for AOT: Retake on their Twitter page.
When Worlds Collide
During my teenage years, I was a devoted fan of Attack On Titan, and as a current fan of Roblox, I find this game to be very promising for the player base. In a video shared on the R/Roblox SubRedditone of the developers effortlessly scales the current placeholder pillars for buildings, showcasing smooth movements and speed. It seems that the controls will be user-friendly, allowing players to easily glide and maneuver around the maps.
The wall running mechanics in the game look fantastic, and the studio has mentioned their next focus will be the Titans themselves! I am eagerly anticipating how they will incorporate these creepy and diverse creatures into the game. If the game stays true to the anime, the Titans will surely rampage in a both amusing and terrifying manner, complete with their eerie grins that stretch from ear to ear.
A Closer Look
The development team has poured a lot of love into this passion project. After only a week of joining the team, Guruu’s hard work has received praise from the studio. In fact, Guruu is the person who recorded the sneak peek video shared earlier in this news article.
We also get a glimpse of some 3D clothing models created for AOT: Retake, showcasing the iconic Survey Corps uniform. These models were skillfully made by the talented Spanishaux on Twitter. It appears that more 3D clothing models, such as the Survey Corps Cloak and Eren’s Commoner Clothes from early in the anime, are currently in progress.
Don’t Miss Out!
You can follow the AOT: Retake project on the official Twitter page of the developers, where hopefully we will see more sneak peeks and snapshots before the game is eventually released. If we’re incredibly lucky, the dedicated fans who follow the game before its release may even receive exclusive gear in the game! (Whenever that may be…!)
And finally, as usual, I will provide some internal links for you to explore! This game looks like an exhilarating frenzy in the best possible way. So, do you have what it takes to become Potato Royalty in the Brotato Update?
