The Vivo T2 Pro 5G is set to launch in India on September 22. The company has confirmed the launch date of the device earlier today. Additionally, it has been confirmed that the smartphone will be available for purchase in India via Flipkart, Vivo India website, and retail stores. The previous leak revealed that the Vivo T2 Pro 5G will feature a 120Hz 3D curved AMOLED display, up to 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. Recently, the hardware specifications of the smartphone have been revealed, courtesy of the Geekbench listing.
Vivo T2 Pro 5G To Feature Dimensity 7200 SoC
The benchmark listing reveals that the Vivo T2 Pro 5G (V2321) will be powered by the Dimensity 7200 SoC, accompanied by the Mali-G610 MC4 GPU. The device will pack up to 8GB of RAM, as revealed by the Geekbench test result. The smartphone will boot Android 13 out of the box with FuntouchOS 13 skin on top. The device has managed to score 1161 and 2625 points in the single-core and multi-core test results respectively.
The previous leak suggests that the Vivo T2 Pro 5G will feature a 64MP primary camera with OIS support. The device is expected to boast a 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1200Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone is expected to measure around 7.4mm in terms of thickness. The teaser revealed by Vivo earlier today confirmed that the device will have a punch-hole cutout at the center to accommodate the selfie camera.
The Vivo T2 Pro 5G will be the latest addition to the T2 series, as the company previously introduced the Vivo T2 5G and the Vivo T2x 5G smartphones. Both the Vivo T2 5G and the T2x 5G smartphones run Android 13 out of the box. The Vivo T2 5G is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 695 SoC, while the T2x 5G is powered by a Dimensity 6020 chipset. The former packs a 4,500mAh battery, while the latter is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery capacity. Both devices feature a dual-camera setup and a fingerprint sensor for security purposes. The Vivo T2x 5G is priced at Rs 12,999 in India, whereas the T2 5G costs Rs 18,999.
