In June, Infinix launched the Note 30 VIP in two colors – Magic Black and Glacier Blue. Today, it is accompanied by a special edition of the smartphone called the Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition.
In collaboration with BMW Group’s Designworks, Infinix has created the Note 30 VIP Racing Edition, which the company describes as “a powerful symbol of performance and racing spirit.” By incorporating racing elements into the phone’s design, Infinix aims to represent speed and passion and provide personalized experiences for its young users.
The design of the Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition draws inspiration from street racing and showcases 3D Lighting Leather technology on its back cover. This technology allows the light band, which represents BMW’s iconic tricolor, to shine through the black leather grain.
Infinix states that the light band symbolizes speed, performance, and power. It reflects the advanced nature of the Digital Racing Dashboard and Infinix’s persistent spirit of challenge.
The Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition also incorporates motorsports elements into its design, echoing racing aesthetics. The back cover resembles a checkered flag, and the palm grip is embossed with small triangles to enhance grip and stability, similar to performance racing steering wheels.
However, the differences between the Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition and the standard model are not only cosmetic. The Racing Edition also features an “extended custom operating system” that includes a theme harmonized with the colors of the light band on the back and Magic Ring. Inspired by Apple’s Dynamic Island, the Magic Ring aims to provide seamless multi-tasking by eliminating the need for app switching.
Additionally, the Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition comes in a special BMW-themed retail package. The package includes extra accessories such as a 15W wireless charger and TWS earphones. Infinix also offers VIP benefits to customers of the Racing Edition, including exclusive after-sales support, prioritized repair services, and other premium VIP privileges.
Nevertheless, the specifications of the Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition remain the same as the regular model. This means you can expect the Dimensity 8050 SoC, a 6.67″ FullHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, a 108MP primary camera, a 32MP selfie shooter, and JBL-tuned stereo speakers. The smartphone also features an in-display fingerprint scanner and is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 68W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition will be available in global markets at an approximate price of $315. However, the brand has yet to disclose the amount of RAM and storage included. The regular model offers 256GB of storage and up to 12GB of RAM.
