A new Brotato update has just been released for the Android port, and there is a plethora of new content to explore.

This update introduces two new characters to the roster. First is the King, who possesses good luck and even starts with a fancy weapon.

The King Is Born To Flex

However, be cautious as the King has expensive tastes. He will receive stat boosts for Tier IV weapons he holds, but will be displeased with Tier I weapons and experience a decrease in stats when using lower-quality gear.

The second character is Renegade, a packrat who starts with -400% damage, but gains a 10% boost for every Tier I item you possess. Please note that Renegade cannot equip melee weapons.

In addition, this update includes a new weapon, four new items, and five new entities to encounter.

So, what exactly is Brotato? It is a game that falls into the reverse-bullet hell genre. It is a top-down combat game where you must face wave after wave of enemies in a vast arena and upgrade your arsenal with new tools of destruction each round.

Potatoes In Space

You assume the role of a sentient potato man who crash lands on a hostile planet and becomes the sole survivor of the space voyage. Your mission is to wait for rescue, but unfortunately, the area is not devoid of life. Horrendous purple monsters swarm the surroundings, eager for a taste of potato salad.

However, this spud isn’t going down without a fight. It possesses the unique ability to wield multiple weapons simultaneously.

Brotato stands out from the countless Vampire Survivors clones because of its distinct features. Firstly, it offers manual aim for those who prefer it. Additionally, you can upgrade your potato’s statistics each round, allowing you to gradually create an unbeatable build if luck is on your side, of course.
