The car brand NIO is preparing to release its first smartphone called NIO Phone, which will premiere on September 21. Ahead of this event, the company has unveiled the gadget in the first official image, fully revealing its design on both sides.

Based on the press render, the NIO Phone will have a display with thin frames and a hole for the selfie module at the top center. On the back of the device, there will be a massive main camera unit with three image sensors and a ring LED flash.

It is known that the smartphone will be available in two memory configurations: 16/512 GB and 16 GB/1 TB. One of its features will be support for UWB technology for remote control of various functions of branded cars. Additionally, insiders have attributed an overclocked modification of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor to the gadget.

The price of the NIO Phone has not yet been announced. According to rumors, the device will be available in a price range from $680 to $950.
