One phone that has been on everyone’s mind these days is the iPhone 15 Pro Max, as it prepares to make its official debut. The iPhone 15 Pro Max will break with tradition and become more than just a bigger iPhone Pro — the periscope telephoto camera will make it a significantly more exciting camera phone than its siblings in the upcoming iPhone 15 lineup.
And with Apple’s upcoming flagship topping our week 36 chart, it was Huawei’s just-announced Mate 60 Pro+ that came in second. The most popular phone in our database for 2023 – the Samsung Galaxy A54 – makes it three different manufacturers on the podium.
Last week’s leader – the Huawei Mate 60 Pro – is now down to fourth, just ahead of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which slips to fifth.
We then have the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 in sixth and seventh place, respectively. However, the seventh-place phone is not another member of the Apple iPhone 15 series, but rather the Pixel 8 Pro. In usual Google fashion, it leaks with such intensity that we know most of its details well before its announcement.
The Redmi 12 took ninth place, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max comes in tenth, making this entire edition of the chart an iPhone Pro Max sandwich.
This means we lose the Sony Xperia 5 V and the Galaxy pair A34 and A14. We expect more new faces next week as Apple delivers its Wunderlust event on Tuesday, so it will be interesting to see which current members survive the onslaught.
See you next week!
