The Lava Blaze 2 arrived in April with a modest price tag of ₹9,000. Now, an upgraded Pro model has been released with a better camera, more RAM, and a slightly higher price tag of ₹10,000.
Starting with the camera, it now features a 50MP main module along with a pair of 2MP helpers. This is an upgrade from the 13MP camera on the regular Blaze 2, which only has one 2MP module. The selfie camera remains the same with an 8MP sensor.
Another notable change is that the Lava Blaze 2 Pro now comes with 8GB of RAM as standard, an increase from the previous 6GB. There is also an option to add 8GB of virtual RAM. The chipset remains the same Unisoc T616 as before, and the storage capacity remains at 128GB built-in, with the ability to expand it by up to 256GB using a microSD card (using a hybrid dual-SIM slot). The phone comes with bloat-free, ad-free Android 12 out of the box.
The Pro model features the same screen as its vanilla sibling, a 6.5” IPS LCD with 720 x 1,600 px resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The battery capacity is also the same at 5,000 mAh, with 18W charging over USB-C. A full charge takes more than 2 hours.

The Pro model is also a 4G phone with support for Wi-Fi 5 (ac) and Bluetooth 5.0, along with a 3.5mm headphone jack. It features a side-mounted fingerprint reader and the option for face unlock as well.
