Samsung is eagerly anticipating the release of the Galaxy S23 FE, also known as the “fan” smartphone. There is already a wealth of information available about this device, and recently, insider Abhishek Yadav added to the rumor mill by revealing the expected price. If his report proves to be accurate, users may be in for an unpleasant surprise.
According to the source, in the Indian market, the smartphone with a 128 GB and 256 GB storage option will be priced at around $665 and $725, respectively. For comparison, the 8/256 GB Galaxy S21 FE is currently available for $605 in the same region, while the base Galaxy S23 offers significantly better performance at only a slightly higher price ($800).
Rumors also suggest that the company may release two different versions of the Galaxy S23 FE. One version will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and will be released in the US, while the other version will be based on the Exynos 2200. The smartphone is also said to feature a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a triple rear camera with 50, 8, and 12 MP sensors, a 4500 mAh battery with support for 25-watt charging, and a design borrowed from the budget-friendly Galaxy A54.
