In recent months, his position within the Red Bull F1 team has come under increasing pressure, but Sergio Perez believes he can still contribute to Red Bull’s future successes. At the same time, he says he also knows what needs to be improved.
“Every year you learn new things and that’s what I love about this sport,” Perez told DAZN Espaa. “You are constantly learning new things. I think the most important thing is that you learn from your mistakes.”
“With the season we’ve had so far it’s important that the upcoming races take place in a way that I feel like I’m contributing something to the team. Depending on whether my place is also here at Red Bull in 2025, I will possibly look at alternatives.”
“But right now my focus is completely here with Red Bull, I want to win more races, I want to win championships with Red Bull.”
“I have a contract with Red Bull until next year and at some point we will sit down and talk to each other.”
