In California, a large Michael Schumacher collection with 159 lots and a multitude of objects has been auctioned. In total, the objects raised about 2.4 million euros.

It was the auction house Sotheby’s that put the unique collection of a Japanese man under the hammer. The Japanese Schumacher fan had collected all kinds of items from Michael Schumacher, but also his son Mick Schumacher, over a period of about thirty years. In addition to scale models, also helmets, racing suits and champagne bottles.

The most expensive object auctioned was a Michael Schumacher helmet from the year 2003, when Schumacher won his penultimate F1 title. The helmet raised 120,000 dollars, which is about 112,000 euros. In total, the auction ‘Full Throttle – The Schumacher Collection’ raised the handsome amount of 2.4 million euros.
