MG has big plans in the Netherlands. Next year, the Chinese will not only come with the Cyberster, an electric roadster, but also with a small electric car. And that can get very interesting…
The Netherlands and Belgium are eagerly awaiting an affordable electric car. Chances are it will be there next year. MG announced the arrival of an electric car in the B-segment. That means that it will have the dimensions of cars such as the Volkswagen Polo and Toyota Yaris.

Electric car for less than 25,000 euros?
That’s all we know right now. MG does not want to say anything about the appearance and price yet. But if the Chinese follow the policy of the successful MG4, the price could be very favorable. The bigger one MG4 is available from 32,285 euros, making it more than 10,000 euros cheaper than the Volkswagen ID.3 (44,990 euros). With this, the price of the compact electric MG could easily fall below 25,000 …. And then Volkswagen has with the ID.2all (2026 in the showroom) check it out.

MG en concurrent Tesla Model Y
In addition to a compact model, MG will also introduce a new top model in 2024. With this, MG has cars such as the Tesla Model Y and Audi Q4 E-Tron in its sights.
And then there’s the MG Cyberster, the electric roadster. The MG Cyberster is expected to arrive in the Netherlands in the autumn of 2024. There will be two versions: one with all-wheel drive and a 77 kWh battery pack, and a rear-wheel drive Cyberster with a smaller battery pack. Official specs are not yet known, but assume an output of around 535 hp in the 4WD version and 306 hp in the rear-wheel drive version. Due to its large battery pack and gull-wing doors, the MG Cyberster is a lot heavier than an average roadster; we count on at least 1800 kilos. Nothing is known about the range yet.
MG does not want to say a word about the fourth model that will be unveiled in 2024.
