What has been updated?
Even after the facelift, the Peugeot 2008 is still for sale with a 110 hp 1.2 liter three-cylinder, in combination with a manual six-speed gearbox. The more powerful version with 130 hp is always coupled to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Since the facelift, both versions are mild hybrids.
The Peugeot e-2008 – the electric version of the model – has more changes to report. The new electric motor has 156 hp and the battery is good for 54 kWh. This gives you a maximum of 406 kilometers on a charge (WLTP). The old powertrain with 136 hp and 50 kWh also remains available.
How do you recognize the facelift?
Then to the design. The old model is also still available in our private lease comparator. You can recognize the new by the modern Peugeot logo (a stylized lion on a black coat of arms) in the grille. The three vertical ‘light claws’ of the headlights have also been moved to the bumper. There used to be one light strip here. The rear lights contained vertical light units in the old model, but the light strips were removed after the facelift.
Trim levels Peugeot 2008
The Active is the entry-level equipment level of the Peugeot 2008. You get cruise control, LED lighting all around, air conditioning, lane departure warning and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. Since the facelift, a 10-inch screen has been standard for all equipment.
What follows is the Allure equipment, then you get parking sensors, 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic air conditioning and privacy glass. The most luxurious version is the Peugeot 2008 GT. It has mood lighting, a reversing camera, keyless entry and start, and the option to charge your phone wirelessly.
