During the second practice session for the GP of Italy, Max Verstappen was fined for driving too fast in the pit lane.
On the Monza circuit you have to drive as fast as possible, but in the pit lane there is a very strict speed limit. In the Monza pit lane it is 80 km/h and if a driver goes over that there is a guaranteed speeding fine, just like you and I would get on the highway.
Max Verstappen drove 84.8 km/h in the pit lane during the second practice session and Red Bull has now been fined 500 euros for this. There are no further consequences for Max Verstappen or Red Bull.
