After he had to hand over his car to Felipe Drugovich during the first practice session, Lance Stroll was once again allowed to get behind the wheel of his Aston Martin F1 car. However, the Canadian immediately had to deal with a technical problem and had to park his car on the side in the grass.

We got a red flag and when the session resumed it was queuing at the exit of the pit lane. The drivers therefore wanted to get back on track as soon as possible.

With about twenty minutes left on the clock, Carlos Sainz in the Ferrari was fastest on track, followed by Lando Norris in the McLaren only a few thousandths of a second.

With a few minutes left on the clock we saw Sergio Perez suddenly go wide on the exit of the last corner. As a result, Perez ended up in the gravel and eventually against the guardrails.

Another red flag and with about four minutes left on the clock the session resumed. Carlos Sainz was ultimately the fastest, followed by Lando Norris at 0.019 seconds. Sergio Perez followed in third, followed by Oscar Piastri in fourth and Max Verstappen who had to settle for fifth.
