During qualifying for the ‘Dutch GP’ it almost came to a collision between Oscar Piastri and Carlos Sainz. The stewards announced during qualifying that they would investigate the incident afterwards and eventually Sainz and Ferrari were penalized.
Carlos Sainz came out of the pit lane during Q1 and just at that moment Oscar Piastri also arrived. Piastri barely managed to avoid Sainz by driving partially off the track. The stewards finally decided to fine Ferrari 5,000 euros and reprimand Carlos Sainz.
It is striking that Ferrari was also fined 100 euros because Carlos Sainz drove a little too fast in the pit lane earlier during the session.
