Former Ferrari team principal and FIA president Jean Todt has once again shown on social media his unconditional support for Michael Schumacher in his rehabilitation.
Todt and Schumacher went through a lot of water together and celebrated successes during their time together at Ferrari and that resulted in a close friendship. The Frenchman can count himself among the small group of people who know how Schumacher is doing after his skiing accident. He also regularly visits the seven-time world champion.
Jean Todt shared a post on social media highlighting Schumacher’s memorable win in Hungary in 1998. The message that the 77-year-old Frenchman adds is unmistakable: “We love you Michael! We will always fight for and with you.”
During the race at the Hungaroring, Michael Schumacher received the legendary message on the on-board radio that he had to complete nineteen qualifying laps to beat Hakkinen and so he did. Schumacher still won the race by ten seconds.
We love you Michael !
We will always fight for you, and with you. https://t.co/QzjeBmzjZd
