After a difficult start to the season, Charles Leclerc is convinced that Ferrari will not be able to fight for victory during the race weekend in Australia.
A retirement in the first race in Bahrain and a handful of world championship points in the second race in Saudi Arabia, that is Charles Leclerc’s meager result so far this season. To be able to participate in the title fight, a victory is therefore needed as soon as possible, but Leclerc does not believe in that, at least not this race weekend in Australia. Last year, Leclerc was still able to triumph in Australia
“We are not going to Australia this year in the same situation as last year,” said Leclerc. “Our performance is clearly not as good as last year.”
“I don’t think there will be any miracles this weekend.”
