Team Norway has won the Race of Champions Nations Cup. In the final, father and son Petter and Oliver Solberg beat Team ‘All Stars’ consisting of F2 champion Felipe Drugovich and our compatriot Thierry Neuville.
In their way to the final, Team Norway successively defeated Team France (Sebastien Loeb and Andrien Tambay) and Team Germany (Mick Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel).
In the final it was a matter of winning three of a maximum of five races as quickly as possible to win the title of the Race of Champions Nations Cup. After the first two races it was 1-1 and in the third race Petter Solberg beat Felipe Drugovich.
So Team Norway took a 2-1 lead and Team ‘All Stars’ was under pressure. The next race had to be won to stay in the race for the title. However, during a rally meeting, Solberg beat our compatriot Thierry Neuville with whom Team Norway won the Race of Champions Nations Cup.
