The Ferrari F1 team has now really shifted up a gear in their preparation for the 2023 F1 season. Yesterday was the first test this year at the Fiorano circuit and today the test continues.
With its private Fiorano circuit, Ferrari has excellent facilities to prepare for a new F1 season. For the drivers, engineers and other personnel, a track test also offers the ideal opportunity to get back on track and learn certain procedures.
Of course, testing is not allowed with the new F1 cars for 2023, but testing is allowed with an F1 car from two years ago. This is how Robert Shwartzman came into action with the SF21. 87 laps were completed on a wet Fiorano circuit.
There will also be further testing in the coming days. For example, Carlos Sainz will come into action today and Charles Leclerc is probably scheduled for tomorrow. Below are some pictures from today and yesterday.
