The Williams F1 team has confirmed that Jamie Chadwick will continue to be part of the Williams Racing Driver Academy in 2023. With that, Chadwick keeps her F1 dream alive.

For the past three seasons, Jamie Chadwick has dominated the W Series, a racing series entirely focused on women in motorsport. In 2023, Chadwick will race in the United States in the Indy NXT Series for Andretti. This gives Chadwick a chance to gain additional exposure while keeping her F1 dream alive at the same time.

“It’s great that I can continue my relationship with Williams. It’s very important to get the chance to show myself in the team and keep my F1 dream alive,” said Chadwick.

Our compatriot Sven Smeets, sporting director at Williams, is also enthusiastic about the news that Chadwick will continue to be part of the Williams Driver Racing Academy.

“We are very pleased that Jamie will continue to be part of our Driver Academy,” said Smeet. “She is an incredibly talented driver and an important role model who can inspire the next generation of women in motorsport. We look forward to supporting her in her new challenge in Indy NXT in 2023.”
